Megjelent a FreeFalcon 5.53 upgrade. A közel 116 MB helyet foglaló javítást a FreeFalcon 5.5-re lehet csak telepíteni. Csak a patch telepítése után mehet a cockpit pack és a többi (pl Hi Tiles). A frissítések és javítások listája, angol nyelven:The install:
A fresh install of FreeFalcon5.5 is required. Do not apply any patches, or make any changes to your config editor or apply the cockpits until after you have installed and finished the patch. This must be a clean install. If you do not have the version FF5.5, this installer will not work. Do not to install any Hi Tiles before applying 5.5.3, then use the Payware Tiles Installer for integration after 5.53 has been applied.

The change log:
- New 3D cockpit art. Thanks to King Richard for this improvement.
- New F-104 and C-5 skins from Pigasos.
- Some data base changes including the addition of External Fuel Tanks on the Jaguar, some additional stores added to the KF-16C's, a refined role score for the F-5E and fixing the ALR56/get lethality CTD.
- New sound files. This project is still a work in process, but these improvements are ready now. It's important to mention that you set your volume sliders to 60-75% maximum. Setting it to 100% causes the sound engine to compress sound generation.
- A new .exe with many tweaks and adjustments, including allowing the cursors to move diagonally.
- Many improvements have been made to the UI.
- Campaign files have been improved. Features and objectives will no longer show as 'no where' and many misnamed features have been corrected. Locations of some objectives and their names have been improved to reflect real life.
- Squadron Patches will now appear in your UI.
- Red1 has improved some art for the cockpits of the Tornado's.
- Instant Action in Korea2012 Air to Air has been changed. Waves 1, 2, and 3 will offer something a little more challenging.
